Opening up your key fob for a battery replacement is simple and hassle-free. Grab a small, flat-blade screwdriver and a new battery that’s compatible with the key fob unit. To begin, push the sides of the key fob inward, and then slide the cover off of the key fob. Next, remove the emergency key from its housing.
